GeoTHERM – Europe’s largest geothermal trade fair
GeoTHERM is Europe’s largest trade fair dedicated exclusively to geothermal energy, held annually at Messe Offenburg-Ortenau in Offenburg, Germany. The event serves as a vital platform for professionals in the geothermal sector to explore innovations, exchange knowledge, and forge international partnerships. With a focus on both near-surface and deep geothermal energy, GeoTHERM features two parallel specialist congresses, high-caliber presentations, practical examples, and extensive networking opportunities. In 2025, the fair attracted 280 exhibitors from 23 countries, including Australia, China, Japan, Canada, the United Arab Emirates, and the USA. The event saw a significant increase in attendance, with 8,522 visitors participating, up from 6,509 the previous year. This growth underscores GeoTHERM's central role in the global geothermal sector. Notable exhibitors included ADC Energy, Advanced Logic Technology (ALT), and the French Association of Geothermal Energy Professionals (AFPG).
