8.9 Million MICE trips to Germany in 2024

According to the IPK World Travel Monitor 2024, Germany once again ranks number one worldwide as a destination for business events and professional exchange — reaffirming the destination’s relevance with quiet consistency in a dynamic global landscape.
45 per cent of MICE trips to Germany are for meetings and seminarsslightly above the global average.23 per cent are for trade fairs and exhibitionsclearly ahead of the global benchmark of 17 per cent.21 per cent are congress-relatedagain, just above the global average of 19 per cent.11 per cent are incentive tripsnoticeably below the global average of 21 per cent.
