According to the IPK World Travel Monitor 2024, Germany once again ranks number one worldwide as a destination for business events and professional exchange — reaffirming the destination’s relevance with quiet consistency in a dynamic global landscape.

45 per cent of MICE trips to Germany are for meetings and seminars slightly above the global average.
23 per cent are for trade fairs and exhibitions clearly ahead of the global benchmark of 17 per cent.
21 per cent are congress-related again, just above the global average of 19 per cent.
11 per cent are incentive trips noticeably below the global average of 21 per cent.
