There were 8.9 Million MICE trips to Germany in 2024 alone...

According to the IPK World Travel Monitor 2024, Germany once again ranks number one worldwide as a destination for business events and professional exchange — reaffirming the destination’s relevance with quiet consistency in a dynamic global landscape.

• 45 per cent of MICE trips to Germany are for meetings and seminars  slightly above the global average.
• 23 per cent are for trade fairs and exhibitions  clearly ahead of the global benchmark of 17 per cent.
• 21 per cent are congress-related  again, just above the global average of 19 per cent.
• 11 per cent are incentive trips  noticeably below the global average of 21 per cent.
